How do I make a room reservation?

The Edmon Low Library is a popular location for special events, receptions and information booths. Possible venues in the building are listed below.

Please submit requests no less than 2 weeks prior to the event date.

 

Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room

The Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room, located on the east side of the second floor, is available on a limited basis for special functions that support the University's mission.

The room will be available for groups larger than 40, if your request is for fewer guest, please request the event room.

 

Open Piano Hour

The Steinway piano, located in Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room, is available to musicians by request.

If you would like the piano included in the set up for a larger event, please use the Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room request form.

 

Event Room

The Event Room, located on the west side of the first floor, is available on a limited basis for special functions that support the University's mission.

The room will be available for groups smaller than 40, if your request is for more than 40 guests, please request Peggy Helmerich Browsing Room.

 

South Lobby

The south lobby is a popular location for information booths hosted by OSU-affiliated groups. The space may be reserved by one or more group during the Library's regular operating hours. Approval or denial of requests will follow established university library policies and will include consideration of possible disruption of normal Library activities.
