What kinds of materials can be borrowed through interlibrary loan?

  • Books, theses and articles that are not available through the library either electronically or in print may be requested via interlibrary loan. ILS can also borrow other formats such as DVDs, CDs and microfilm. The Library will then submit the request to our extensive network of lending partners. Interlibrary requests may also be used to retrieve electronic versions of articles in journals the Library subscribes to.
  • If we subscribe to the journal in print and have the issue you requested, we will scan the article and notify you via email that it is available electronically. If we subscribe to the journal electronically, ILS will send the URL for serious solutions pages.
  • Please view the ILS guide for more information.
