Is there a lost and found in the Library?

  • Lost and found items may be kept behind the Circulation and Information Desk. Items collected at the Desk are brought to Access Services at the beginning of each business day, where they are tagged with the current date and entered in the Lost & Found logbook. If an item has any identifying information (student IDs, books, or notebooks with names written in them, wallets, purses, etc.), the Access Services Office will contact the owner via phone or campus email. Other items are kept for approximately three months in Access Services. After this time, if the materials have not been claimed, they will be discarded or donated.
  • If you wish to report an item lost, you can do so by calling 405-744-9733 or emailing lib-fines@okstate.edu. You may also complete an online form at https://library.okstate.edu/forms/ask-us/lost-and-found. Please include a specific description of what was lost, along with your name, CWID, phone number, and email address.
